For example CBT is suitable for:

·         Anxiety

·         Depression

·         Exams – studying

·         Health – Anxiety

·         Lack of assertiveness

·         Panic attacks

·         Phobias

·         Procrastination

·         Work issues, such as role change, new job, redundancy and promotion

What is Hypnosis?

“Hypnosis is an effortless instinctive state of mind which one is able to bring about by themselves or with the support of another, whereby the conscious and unconscious mind possibly will become more suggestible, and information in the conscious and unconscious mind is likely to become more easily available thus enabling one to explore and learn how to resolve the source of their challenge and enjoy transformation”

Short-term psychodynamic psychotherapy

Short term psychodynamic psychotherapy is an intensive therapy of up to 12 sessions. Together with our therapists you will agree an exact goal to work towards with successive weekly one-to-one sessions each of 50 minutes duration.

This gives you an opportunity to explore your problems in depth with your therapist in order for you to achieve greater self-awareness and for you to explore the possibility of transforming your life.

Short-term therapy can be predominantly useful when facing struggles with:

·         Anxiety

·         Bereavement

·         Depression

·         Inability to manage under pressure

·         Relationship difficulties

·         bullying and harassment

·         Poor performance at work

·         Traumatic incidents

·         Stress

·         Redundancy

Long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy (LTPP)

LTPP requires a longer time commitment with more frequent sessions than other psychotherapies. Here we offer weekly one-to-one therapy, with each session lasting 50 minutes, the duration of therapy will need to be discussed with your individual therapist.

Regular sessions provide a safe and containing opportunity to explore repeating patterns of behaviour, particularly in relationships, which might be unconsciously replicated in the consulting room.

The psychodynamic approach recognises that problems and distress in the present may have originated in early life experiences. Understanding can provide the first step towards change in perception, awareness and relationships. Counselling and psychotherapy provide a secure environment in which to explore past and present feelings and the links between past and present relationships.

LTPP can be particularly effective if you are experiencing deep-rooted difficulties such as:

·         Anxiety

·         Bereavement

·         Depression

·         Low self-esteem

·         Recurring problems of long duration

·         Relationship difficulties

·         Stress

It is absolutely acceptable to start a course of psychotherapy in order simply to learn more about yourself and learn what makes you tick. Psychotherapy has numerous possibilities as well as increasing your self-awareness, gaining greater confidence, improving relationships and managing stress in a healthier way.

Psychoanalytical psychotherapy

Psychoanalytical psychotherapy is long-term therapy where you will see your therapist 2 or 3 times a week for a 50 minute session over a minimum of two years.

It is a thorough method and appropriate for you if you are interested in considered self-exploration of a wide-ranging nature including personal, emotional and relationship struggles in a safe environment.
